The legendary Skyline S54 that started the Skyline myth is now available in its Japan Grand Prix specification! This model marks the origin of the iconic Skyline G, faithfully recreating the details of the S54 used in the 1964 race. The second-generation Skyline, initially a 1500cc family car, had its front extended to fit the 6-cylinder engine from the higher-class Gloria, producing the GT version. One hundred units were built with the goal of dominating the second Japan Grand Prix. In the race, the Skyline achieved the remarkable feat of briefly overtaking the Porsche 904 Carrera GTS, a car renowned as a commercial racing machine, cementing its status in the Skyline mythos.

TLV brings this S54 Skyline GT to life, with the Japan Grand Prix version modeled after the early I-type version. Two variations are offered: the iconic No. 39 car, which finished second in the race, and the legendary No. 41, which became famous for overtaking the Porsche. Both versions feature an opening hood to reveal the detailed engine inside. This S54 not only holds a special place in the Skyline lineage but also in the history of Japanese motorsports.
