The original "Skyline G," the S54 model, has been faithfully recreated in this die-cast model, known for its detailed design, including an opening hood and a realistic engine. The Skyline GT has over 60 years of history, and the S54 was its beginning. Created by extending the front of the Prince Skyline 1500 and equipping it with a 6-cylinder 2000cc engine from the Gloria, it was originally made in a limited run of 100 units for the 1964 Japan Grand Prix. Its success led to full-scale production as the Skyline 2000GT in 1965. After Prince Motors merged with Nissan in 1966, the S54 was updated and continued production as the Nissan Prince Skyline 2000GT until 1968.

TLV first released the base model Prince Skyline 1500 in 2004, and now, 20 years later, the GT version has been added to the lineup with a complete redesign, reflecting two decades of development. This model replicates the post-merger "third-generation" version, with features such as the black front grille and an opening hood that reveals the 6-cylinder G7 engine with triple carburetors, a signature of the high-performance GT-B. With TLV now offering every 20th-century Skyline model from the first generation to the R34, this is a must-have for collectors. The 1/64 scale die-cast mini car comes pre-painted and assembled in an open package, with prototype images shown that may differ from the final product.
