From the 20th Anniversary commemorative film GARO: TAIGA, which depicts the youth and battles of Taiga Saejima, father of Kouga Saejima, comes the Golden Knight Garo (Taiga Saejima), now joining the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou lineup!

Through the signature Shinkocchou Seihou approach—sculpting based on the underlying skeletal structure—Taiga Saejima is brought to life wearing the legendary Golden Knight Garo armor. The suit used in the film was thoroughly analyzed, ensuring that every detail—from the armor’s structure and intricate engravings to the decorative patterns and inner mechanical details—is faithfully reproduced.

The texture of the golden armor, passed down to those bearing the title of Golden Knight Garo, is represented with a brilliant gold-plated finish that radiates an overwhelming presence. The crimson eyes unique to Taiga’s transformation are delicately painted to capture their fiery glow. The engraved panel lines are adjusted to an exquisite depth, casting beautiful shadows that accentuate the armor’s form under reflected light.

Balancing a realistic suit-like appearance with dynamic articulation, the figure allows for expressive posing that replicates the powerful movements seen in the film. The shoulder armor’s lifting mechanism, double-jointed elbows, and forward-swinging shoulders enable natural two-handed sword poses with the Garo Sword. The movable collar armor enhances shoulder motion without interference, while the hip joints allow for dynamic stances with raised thighs or wide footing. The ankles preserve Garo’s signature high-arched shape while maintaining smooth forward, backward, and lateral movement.

The Garo Sword, which cuts through darkness and sin, features an intricately printed blade pattern. A sheathed version is also included, complete with a real metal chain on the scabbard for added realism. Using the dedicated interchangeable hand parts, you can pose him gripping the sword or recreate the unsheathing motion by detaching the hilt.

The set also includes a luxurious display sleeve, inspired by the Compass that contains the souls of the Four Gods from GARO: TAIGA. The fold-out packaging evokes the act of releasing the compass and, when fully opened, transforms into a background sheet featuring an illustration of the “Sacred Beast” drawn by series creator Keita Amemiya. Displayed together with the figure, it vividly recreates the climactic scenes of the film—an ultimate collectible for any GARO fan.
