Introducing the PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-78-2 Gundam, a flagship model that embodies the pinnacle of GUNPLA innovation.

The GUNPLA EVOLUTION LINK SYSTEM guides builders through a step-by-step assembly process designed to replicate the experience of constructing a real Mobile Suit. Every phase—assembly, movement, structure, exterior, and performance—showcases the latest advancements in Gunpla engineering.

The kit features the largest insert frame in Gunpla history, with leg frames measuring approximately 180 mm. The full internal frame, acting as the skeletal foundation, can be built earlier in the process than ever before in a Perfect Grade kit.

Over 90 points of articulation are built into the model, the highest ever for a Gunpla. The torso utilizes a core block mechanism with a newly designed structure that integrates 40 movable axes, delivering incredible flexibility and motion range.

The multi-layered truss frame is finished with a combination of metallic molding colors and plated parts, offering four unique metallic textures. To enhance the sense of realism and mechanical layering, a variety of materials are used—including silver plating, matte plating, chrome plating, metal parts, and newly developed etching stickers.

This model also features the most hatch-opening gimmicks in Gunpla history, allowing for deep mechanical exposure and visual complexity.

A newly developed RGB dual-lamp LED unit provides dramatic light-up effects that simulate activation scenes. The design maximizes light guide efficiency and supports color-changing illumination for added realism.

Even the beam saber includes a built-in micro LED unit, creating a stunning gradation effect from base to tip, as if the blade is truly glowing from within.
