The **Governor Armor Type: Pawn X1** is an enhanced variant of the Pawn A1, designed to improve the BMI (Brain-Machine Interface) capabilities. While the BMI became standard in the Armor Type series, the systems used in the Pawn A1 and Knight models were simplified compared to the advanced "War Mage" systems, reducing the strain on users but leaving skilled operators wanting more control. The Pawn X1 addresses this by incorporating a redesigned system that allows for more precise adjustments tailored to each Governor, Karma, and Hexa Gear. This results in deeper synchronization between the Governor and their equipment, evolving the BMI to be more aligned with the individual capabilities of each unit.

While the Pawn X1 introduces an advanced BMI system, its hardware does not significantly differ from the Pawn A1, with minor upgrades such as enhanced artificial muscles and additional armor focused around the upper body. The intense battles between Zoatex machines and their Governors continue to escalate, requiring the human pilots to adapt and enhance themselves alongside their machines. This evolution leads to more specialized types, such as Heavy Armor and Ex-Armor types, with humans constantly seeking ways to improve and survive in an unforgiving world.
