From the new short film Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Intermission: Purification, created to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Gundam Barbatos Adapt is brought to life in three dimensions for the very first time in the HG series.

Its striking, battle-ready appearance is faithfully recreated using newly designed parts, capturing the unique silhouette introduced in the film. The kit includes two Teiwaz-supplied swords—one large and one small—allowing for a variety of dynamic combat poses.

Featuring a luxurious specification, select sections of the Gundam Frame have been updated to significantly expand articulation and range of motion. The result is a highly expressive HG kit that combines fresh design elements with enhanced mobility, making it a standout addition for Iron-Blooded Orphans fans and Gunpla builders alike.

● First-ever 3D release of the unit that bridges to Gundam Barbatos Lupus

The damaged Gundam Barbatos, heavily scarred during the battle of Edmonton, is reborn as Gundam Barbatos Adapt—faithfully recreated with newly sculpted elements to represent the emergency repairs carried out by Tekkadan’s mechanics.

The exterior armor is entirely newly designed, capturing the massive, rugged appearance seen on screen. The waist thruster unit is articulated, and the attachment points on both sides allow the included large and small swords to be mounted.

● Newly sculpted weapons included

Both the large and small swords are recreated with all-new molds, enhancing presence and realism.

● Upgraded Gundam Frame parts for enhanced articulation

Select sections of the Gundam Frame feature newly updated parts, dramatically expanding the range of motion and allowing for even bolder, more aggressive poses inspired by the series.

- Neck: A multi-axis upper cervical structure allows the head to tilt further upward.

- Shoulders: Newly sculpted shoulder parts reduce interference during inward arm rotation.

- Torso: Major updates to the shoulder and abdominal sections enable stronger forward shoulder movement, elevated arm poses, and dynamic upper-body twisting.

- Waist & hip joints: A swing mechanism is introduced at the hips, allowing for more natural kicking poses and stable kneeling stances.

- Polycap-less parts: Some joint polycaps have been replaced with KPS parts, reinforcing joint strength and improving pose stability.
